Hello everyone!
Ok well , of course this cant be a guide for EVERYTHING. In it I will try to answer many of the questions I receive from new players as well as display some information I have learned from my time here.
What level do I learn my class?
At level 5 you may take you job if you follow the quest line
Where can I get gold?
There is no gold within monato , only commodities , metatix and items
What is the best class?
A cleric of course ;p - Actually , each class in the game plays its role , some solo better than others though to be able to successfully defeat many of the final dungeons in the game (and have access to some of the best items in the game consistently) a well rounded team is required for maximum efficiency.
A rough indicator
Hwrang - Less def than templar / More physical dmg
Templar - More def (highest) / less dmg / IE a Tank (can also taunt)
Mage - Damage dealers and mana batteries
Cleric - Support class , healers / buffs
Do Repairs , Enchants and some zone require metatix?
Yes
How do I enchant an item?
You may enchant your items by finding a cities Alchemist , Placing a monster scroll with an enchant you like along with the equipment to be enchanted in thier proper slots.
Note that sometimes when enchanting the client may crash. Also , though it says it hasa chance to fail - I have never actually failed any enchantment
Where do I sell my items?
There are no static vendor NPC's within Monato , everything is found or traded for with other players (100% player driven economy). The best way to "vendor" items is to disassemble them (by pressing A , it is the alternate tab) You may keep those items to create "Great items" from blueprints found within the game (which are alot of the time better than metatix armor). You may also trade items to other players , some quick tips for new players - Mana potions , Blue herbs , Hp potions , pretty much all potions and thier related components can be sold to other players for Metatix quickly.
The Market within each city is a place you can post items for hours in order to sell them , though I recommend only using this for major items.
How do I make an item with a blueprint / Repair my items?
Find the blacksmith in any city , they have these options available
How come some dungeons have owners?
The qualifications of each dungeon are different and the tools to own a dungeon are not currently in the game , this will become available at a later time. Current owners are instated at developers discretion.
Why cant I be a harlequinn or Sheriff?
These classes are not currently in the game , though they will likely become professional classes for players that have reached max level to evolve into. They will be released along with other content at a later date.
Where can I get wings?
Wings , dove wings , drop frequently and randomly from monsters across the world , Vulture wings drop from revenant located in Sinye.
How can I run faster?
Get wolf boots from the wolf chief located in the laboratory zone , Enchant them with a scroll found on ogre brawlers.
What is the Maximum level ingame?
This would be 40
What are the best places for me to level?
First get to level 13 , by going to the garden and the lab areas. After this head to holinhigh which can be entered through the cherry blossom zone. At holinhigh do centaur quests until you get the repeatable versions. Repeat these quests until 18 then head to the barrens. At the barrens do the quests there until you recieve the Evil seed and ogre extermination quests , do these until 24. At 24 you can move to Roan and grab quests there , you may also enter sinye and get repeatables there. Best way to level over 30 is in sinye doing the Fearful Farmer , Mask Collector , Base Defense and coin collection repeats all at once.
How hard is it to level?
Leveling in this game is above average in terms of difficulty
What are metatix quests?
You may find people with M above thier heads offering metatix quests.
These quests give decent xp and decent items but require metatix in exchange.
How do I get a glowy weapon?
Enchant any metatix quested weapon
I just died instantly what happened?
Actually you were killed by an invisible monster that I call "Butchers"
These are creatures who have spawned , though have not updated on your screen and so you cannot see them attacking you. This is a bug and it is being worked on.
I cant use my skills! ARghgh
Use a potion , then try again. Also check your mana pool make sure its not empty.
If they still dont work , relog
Is it true some bosses have a respawn timer in dungeons?
The dungeons are instanced (created for your party when you enter) There is no respawn time , just have everyone exit your party , sit there for 30 seconds and reinvite everyone before reentering a dungeon if you would like it to respawn.
Help my item is about to break and I cant repair it!
If you need metatix for repairs , a quick way to get them is selling potions and potion components over the trade channel. IF you are desperate and have no alternatives you can also petition the League of Metatix Sponsors (found in the general section) by posting in the topic or private messaging me explaining the situation.
Do Metatix zones have crystals?
Kalia lake does not have a crystal for regeneration
Sinye does not have a crystal for regeneration
Metatix dungeons vary in this respect
Im level 20 why cant I find more metatix quests?
To get level 20 metatix armor you must be level 22 . its always 2 levels over the level of the armor/items before metatix quests/items for that level becomes available
Basic tactical tips in groups
*When doing quest runs , lowest level individual should be selected to loot all repeatable gathering items
*When doing quest runs a single leader should be selected , this leader should select targets and the rest of the party should focus thier dps on this single target for maximum speed. (if your group is well rounded , you can have 2 teams doing this)
*When under attack by multiple creatures , the creature with the lowest hp is always killed first
*When attacking a boss , additional creatures if any are attacking , are always killed first
*Be patient and regroup/rebuff regularly
